Actor Billy Bob Thornton could be set for a new film role – as hero Davy Crockett.

Actor Billy Bob Thornton could be set for a new film role – as hero Davy Crockett.

Variety says Walt Disney Studios are in talks with Thornton to play the role of Crockett in the period drama entitled The Alamo.
