New Basement Jaxx album out next spring

Basement Jaxx have revealed they've already written 30 songs for their new album, due out next spring.

Felix and Simon say they're planning to choose the best of the songs over the next few months.

And they will continue to use unknown vocalists for the new tracks.

"We've been in the studio just a couple of months," the duo told Worldpop.com.

"We've been relaxing, spending time at home kind of racing around, not really DJing, just kind of becoming human beings again to hopefully kind of realise our new message.

"We've got loads of people coming into the studio, singers and various people, mostly underground people."
