I did sex scene to prove myself, says Jenn

Friends star Jennifer Aniston today revealed why she is appearing in her first sex scene in her latest movie.

The 33-year-old star spoke of her desire to try something different in her role as a depressed shop assistant who seeks relief from a boring marriage through an affair with a colleague in The Good Girl.

“I wanted to prove, to myself most of all, that I could try something different,” she told News of the World magazine.

Aniston revealed that her heart-throb husband Brad Pitt did not mind her appearing semi-naked with 21-year-old actor Jake Gyllenhaal in the film, which is due out in November.

She said: “Brad was just like, ‘Be nice to the guy. He’s only a kid!”’

Of her marriage to the Hollywood star, Aniston said: “It’s a nice feeling to have somebody that you just like so much. I’d like us to have a family, I’d like to travel, I’d like to do it all.”
