British actor Orlando Bloom is to appear in Walk Disney movie Pirates of the Caribbean opposite Hollywood star Johnny Depp.

Bloom, who is best known for his role as Legolas Greenleaf in blockbuster The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, plays a young British man in the film.
