Stephen Gately to make stage debut in December

Stephen Gately is to make his stage debut in Joseph And The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.

The former Boyzone star will take over the title role for four weeks at the Liverpool Empire.

Gately will be in the production from December 16 to January 11, 2003.

The musical is undertaking a UK-wide tour this autumn.

It is expected to transfer to the West End in the new year, reports What's On Stage.
