Cold Feet star gets three-year driving ban
Coldfeet star John Thomson was today banned from driving for three years after admitting drink-driving.
The 33-year-old actor, who plays Pete Gifford in the hit ITV comedy drama, was appearing before magistrates in Trafford, Greater Manchester, who also handed him a 12-month community rehabilitation order for driving at two-and-a-half times the legal drink-drive limit.
Thomson, of Burton Road, West Disbury, Greater Manchester, told officers who breathalysed him “it’s a fair cop” when they stopped his Jaguar on Burton Road on August 4 last year, the court had heard.
