Sex And The City star to play lesbian on stage

Sex And The City's Kim Cattrall is to play a lesbian on Broadway.

Cattrall is to co-star with Martha Plimpton in Boston Marriage, which was written by David Mamet.

The play has recently been staged in London starring Zoe Wanamaker.

It's a Victorian comedy about two lesbians.

Boston Marriage opens at New York's Public Theatre in November, reports Variety.
