Matt Damon to appear on the Bernie Mac show

Matt Damon is to make a guest appearance in the sitcom the Bernie Mac Show.

Damon co-starred with Mac in Ocean's 11.

In the episode Damon will play himself and it involves the pair facing each other on the golf course.

Former Xena Warrior Princess star Lucy Lawless will also guest star as Damon's golf partner.

In the episode, Mac's manager talks him into playing in a charity celebrity golf tournament to help his image reports www.variety.com.

But Mac's competitive spirit kicks in after he learns he'll be playing against Damon, who has been telling everyone he beat Bernie at golf while they were making Ocean's 11.
