Sharon Osborne released after cancer surgery
Sharon Osbourne has been released from hospital after undergoing surgery for colon cancer.
Osbourne, 50, who manages her husband Ozzy Osbourne's career, is "in good spirits and doing well", family spokeswoman Lisa Vega says.
The surgery took place last week at an undisclosed Los Angeles-area hospital.
The disease was in its early stages, Ms Vega says, and doctors expect a full recovery. She did not say when Osbourne was released.
Because of the surgery, the first two dates of Ozzy Osbourne's summer music tour - in Bristol, Virginia, and Pittsburgh - were postponed.
With his wife out of the hospital, Osbourne plans to resume the Ozzfest 2002 tour in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Ms Vega says.
The Osbournes, the highest-rated programme in MTV's history, chronicles the unorthodox home life of Ozzy, Sharon and two of their three children - 17-year-old daughter Kelly and 16-year-old son Jack.
