Jury sworn in for Crowe extortion trial

A jury was sworn in today for the trial of two men accused of attempting to extort money from Oscar-winning actor Russell Crowe.

Gladiator star Crowe, believed to be shooting a film in Mexico, was not present for the proceedings at a district court in Coffs Harbour, a resort town north of Sydney, Australia, where he owns a cattle ranch.
