Jay Kay says monarchy should end with Queen

Jamiroquai singer Jay Kay has branded Prince Edward a "useless bastard."

He praised the Queen and her Golden Jubilee celebrations.

But in an interview with Czech newspaper Lidove Noviny he had little positive to say about her sons.

"The old lady, I mean the Queen, is a good person. I'm a fan of hers. But the worst thing is that there is no-one suitable to take over the crown - the monarchy should finish with her," he said.

"Charles, Andrew, or that freeloader Edward? Useless bastard. The most useless bastard I know.

"And you can print that just the way I've said it, because it's true."

Jamiroquai are currently touring Europe and are to give a concert in the Czech capital, Prague, tomorrow.
