Worshippers amazed by security at McCartney wedding church

The parishioners of an Irish village church watched in amazement today as their Sunday service was guarded by security men and observed from a distance by the world’s media waiting for the wedding of Sir Paul McCartney and Heather Mills.

Just two days before the couple tie the knot at the chapel inside the grounds of Castle Leslie in Glaslough, County Monaghan, villagers were celebrating the christening of a girl.
