Bet will be star witness on the Street

Bet Lynch is returning to Coronation Street to testify as the star witness in a court case.

She will be worse off than when she was a barmaid at the Rovers 30 years ago if she loses the case.

Actress Julie Goodyear will reprise the character in the ITV soap from June 10.

She played the barmaid for 25 years before quitting seven years ago.
