Jay Kay laughs off the bruises

Jamiroquai front man Jay Kay has laughed off a street attack which left him with a bloody nose saying: ‘‘At least I didn’t go down.’’

The diminutive Virtual Insanity star, who was pictured with a bleeding face after an alleged attack, told a concert audience: ‘‘The great thing about being a pop star is you can afford a good nose job’’.
