Stars arrive for Champions League final

Scotland is welcoming a host of VIPs to Glasgow for tonight’s European Champions League final at Hampden Park.

The stars arriving include a King, a former James Bond and a Formula One racing driver.

Some of the famous faces due in the stands are King Juan Carlos of Spain (an avid Real Madrid fan), Sean Connery, German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder and racing star Michael Schumacher.

Alex Ferguson of Manchester United, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, Liverpool’s Gerard Houllier and Roma coach Fabio Capello are also on the guest list.

Meanwhile, Fifa president Sepp Blatter and Uefa president Lennart Johansson will head a large delegation from the game’s governing bodies.
