Bet's earrings irresistible

Julie Goodyear says she took: "a lot of persuading" before agreeing to go back into Coronation Street as buxom Bet.

Set for a return to our screens from next month, Julie says: "I was wonderfully happy living on my farm in Heywood, Lancashire, and really didn't want to go back."

So what made her change her mind?

"The chance to wear those wonderful Bet earrings again," says Julie. "Why else?!"
