Spacek co-stars with Irons in Gatsby writer film

Sissy Spacek is to co-star with Jeremy Irons in a film about F Scott Fitzgerald.

She will play Zelda, the institutionalised wife of the Great Gatsby author, in the made-for-TV movie.

Scream actress Neve Campbell will play a young aspiring writer who lands a job as secretary to Fitzgerald.

Irons depicts the writer in his final, troubled months as he battles with drink and delusional fantasies to try to complete his final work, The Last Tycoon.

Last Call is to get its TV premiere on US cable channel Showtime on May 25.
