Travis enlist chiropractors for Birmingham gig
Travis nearly failed to make it on stage for their gig at Birmingham's National Indoor Arena in the UK.
The band were stricken with agonising back pains and had to call in two chiropractors.
Brothers Paul and David Malone answered the group's SOS and were presented with VIP passes by singer Fran Healey after the performance.
Dr Paul Malone told Birmingham's Evening Mail: "We were honoured to be asked to treat them. Although they are not the guys lugging the heavy equipment around they are going on the stage and this has its own problems.
"They can suffer things like repetitive strain injuries from instruments such as guitars and keyboards, and other issues include neck and back problems.
"It's fair to say they had somewhat seized up and we helped to get them going. It's a good feeling to know that you have helped to keep a show on the road."
The duo also treated the Red Hot Chilli Peppers at the V2001 festival in Weston Park.
