Merchant Ivory to be honoured at Baftas
The Merchant Ivory team are to be given a Bafta Fellowship.
They will be honoured at the Orange British Academy Film Awards taking place on February 24.
Director James Ivory and producer Ismail Merchant are best known for movies like A Room With A View.
They first teamed up more than 30 years ago and have also had success with Howards End and The Remains Of The Day.
The Bafta Fellowship was first awarded in 1971 to Alfred Hitchcock, according to reports.
Charlie Chaplin, Steven Spielberg and Woody Allen are among the others to have received the honour.
