Julia Roberts announced as Oscar presenter

Julia Roberts is to present an Oscar at this year's Academy Awards.

She will attend the ceremony at the new Kodak Theatre in Hollywood on March 24.

The Oscar nominees will be announced on February 12.

Last year she won a best-actress Oscar for her role as brassy legal aide Erin Brockovich.

It is Roberts' third appearance as a presenter at the Oscars.
