Winslet wins LA critics' award

Actress Kate Winslet was celebrating today after she scooped an award for best supporting actress for her role in the movie Iris, after missing out in the Golden Globes.

The British star was presented with the accolade at the Los Angeles Film Critics’ 27th Annual Achievement awards in Santa Monica, California, last night.
