Goldie set to return to EastEnders
Goldie has been invited back to EastEnders as a gangster.
He first appeared in the BBC1 soap last June when he came to collect debts from character Paul Trueman.
The drum 'n' bass star says he's overwhelmed that producers want him to return.
A spokeswoman for EastEnders confirmed Goldie has been invited back.
But she says it has not yet been decided when or for how long.
"I'm overwhelmed they want me back there to be a hoodlum," Goldie said.
"We left it open-ended after the last time I appeared. It looks imminently like it is going to be a bigger situation. I can't tell you much about it yet. But I hope I get to chin Phil Mitchell.
"Seriously, they're great people both in front of the cameras and behind.
"In my ideal EastEnders I'd make Paul work as a taxi driver, get Sharon working behind the bar and have late-night cuddly talks with Dot."
