Lewinsky still trying to live normal life

Monica Lewinsky says she is still trying to work out how to live a normal life following the sex scandal that almost toppled Bill Clinton.

She made her comments as she promoted a documentary on the US cable TV network HBO, to be screened on March 3.

Monica In Black and White largely consists of her answering questions from an audience of HBO staff and college students.

Lewinsky initiated the project and was paid for her participation, but she wouldn't say how much.

The former White House intern said she made the film partly because she was worried other TV films being made about her case would be inaccurate.

She said that the biggest misconception people have about her is that she sought celebrity status by seducing the president.

The other is that people think she's stupid.

Lewinsky now designs handbags and attends classes at Columbia University in New York.
