Blizzard teases new character for Overwatch

An official blog post written in the style of a news report from the Overwatch fictional universe has hinted at the introduction of a new hero for players to enjoy.

“Heroes” in Overwatch are the characters that players control in the game’s signature class based, multiplayer battles.

Unlike many shooters, whose multiplayer avatars are soldiers without identity, Overwatch’s heroes have backstories, personalities, and dialogue.

The hero is named Doomfist, and is said to have broken out of prison, killing over a dozen to do so.
