Microsoft working on mobile reboot: report

Microsoft is rebooting its mobile offerings with brand new software and hardware if a report from Brad Sams of Thurrott.com is to believed.

Referring to two independent sources from inside the company, Sams states Microsoft is developing new hardware designed to provide users with ‘new experiences’ and that the company’s latest UI will be different to Windows Mobile 10.

As Sams notes, work on the new software and hardware is still in the early stages of development and Microsoft may completely change its plans in the coming months.
