Nintendo may be developing a SNES Mini

A new report from Eurogamer suggests that Nintendo is hard at work developing a SNES Mini console in time for a Christmas release.

A new report from Eurogamer provides a potential answer as to why Nintendo decided to discontinue the highly popular NES Mini console so soon after its release: the company is developing a SNES Mini.

Referring to anonymous sources, the report says that development on a SNES Mini console is ‘already under way’ and that the console is currently scheduled for a Christmas 2017 release.
