The Reelists had been commissioned by Galway band Rofi James to create a music video around their new single 'Fool For Your Love'.

The two men behind the Reelists, Tommy Flavin and Kevin O’Regan, decided to channel their documentary experience into creating a documentary-style music video highlighting the plight of the 60,000 refugees living in limbo in Greece.

Before travelling to Greece the Reelists contacted the Irish Examiner and asked if we were willing to highlight what they found on the ground in the pages of the Irish Examiner in print and online.

Tomorrow, the Irish Examiner will be publishing a special report from Tommy and Kevin accompanied by amazing imagery captured during their time in Greece.

As part of their stay in Pikpa Solidarity Camp the two men also interviewed many of the residents and asked what message they would have for EU leaders. In this video a number of residents, young and old, tell their story and send their message.

As you will hear it is clear that Europe's refugees simply want another chance at life, free from the worries of war, violence and poverty.
