Footage of sale items being increasedin price for Black Friday has been released online, however a spokesperson for the company has said the bundle had been improved with a larger memory card.

The mobile phone footage, appears to be taken in a Harvey Norman store in Dublin and shows a person lifting a sales notice for technical goods to reveal a cheaper sales price on a notice hidden underneath.

Another video shows a sales notice advertising a reduced special Black Friday offer and when removed, another notice underneath showed the same price.

In a statement from Harvey Norman’s a spokesperson said: "If you are referring to the video that was posted in our Airside store, I can confirm that the two pricing tickets featured were indeed for two different product bundles which you can see in the video.

"The Black Friday bundle includes a higher spec memory card - double the memory of the previous bundle.

"We apologise for any confusion that might have been caused and I can confirm that a clearer ticket in now in place.

"We’re aggressively matching competitors Black Friday pricing and have matched over 500 price reductions since Friday 18th November and will continue to match or beat competitors promotions for the duration of the Black Friday promotion."
