Dublin hotel will no longer host the launch of an extreme right-wing party
The hotel's manager Garrett Power said: "Please be advised that this event is not taking place at The Merrion Hotel."
Speakers include its president Justin Barrett who has been involved with Youth Defence and the Mother and Child Campaign, and it’s deputy president James Reynolds, national treasurer of the Irish Cattle and Sheep Farmers Association and former chairman of the Irish Farmers Association.
It is unclear whether the Merrion Hotel are aware of the nature of this party, we have contacted them for comment.
Meanwhile, Twitter users are rallying together to get to the bottom of it.
@MerrionHotel is the hospitality industry doing so badly that you're OK with allowing the launch of a neo-nazi party or are you supporters?

@MerrionHotel hosting an anti-elite event for the "national party"? The irony almost outweighs the disgust #NoToHate
