VIDEO: See the Dutch naval submarine make its way through Cork harbour
The 68m HNLMS Bruinvis is a diesel electric powered sub with an armament of around 40 torpedoes.
This video was sent to us by Aaron Barker who captured footage of the sub making it's way through Cork harbour, right up into the city.
The Bruinvis was built during the Cold War and came into service in 1991.
The Walrus class vessel has a praticularly unusual X-tail design which is quite different from the cross tail design which we would be more familiar with.
