Researchers and scientists at Stanford University in the US have developed software to help children recognise and classify emotions through the use of eyewear.

The “Autism Glass” analyses facial expressions and gives the wearer the emotion being experienced by the person they are interacting with.

The aim of the concept is to boost the confidence of users in social situations.
