Dead Rising 1 and 2 being remastered

There were reports yesterday that the original Dead Rising would be released on PlayStation 4. Capcom has since confirmed that a remastered version of it will be making its way to PlayStation 4 as well as Xbox One and PC.

But that’s not all. Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record will also be released on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Off the Record is the version of Dead Rising 2, which stars Frank West, a fitting release given that he’ll be the protagonist of the upcoming Dead Rising 4.

Dead Rising 4 is scheduled for release on Xbox One and PC later this year, but remasters add fuel to the fire that it will be released on PlayStation 4 after a period of exclusivity.
