Watch John Williams surprise two musicians playing Star Wars theme outside his house

Williams is without a doubt one of the greatest composers for film with some of the most iconic scores and a legions of fans to his name. And now it turns out he's a pretty sound guy!

13-year-old Bryce and his friend Mickle Miller stood on the footpath outside Williams' house and, armed with just a trumpet and flugel horn, gave a powerful rendition of the legendary opening music for Star Wars.

As much as we love the music, it's probably best that you don't stand outside someones house blasting brass instruments but nevertheless it worked and Williams himself came out to greet them.

"Hello! I thought to myself that they would never make it, and they did!" said the 84-year-old composer, referring to the higher notes in the piece.

When Williams learned it was young Bryce who made the notes he showered him with praise.
