Italian chimney piece to warm to

This George III Italian white marble chimney piece from a collection in Ireland was a highlight at the Ronald Phillips stand at the Masterpiece Fair in London this week. 

The rosso antico relief plaques and micro mosaic panels are attributed to Lorenzo Cardelli and Cesare Aguatti.

The fireplace is a real rarity thought to have been commissioned by the Earl Bishop of Derry.
