Left 4 Dead and Portal 2 now backwards compatible on Xbox One
Mind bending puzzler Portal 2 has been added and if you somehow missed it this is the perfect time to catch up. Also if the update means it's reappeared in your games list then get with the playing! It's smart and funny and also pretty darn hard.
Also on the list now is Valve's Left 4 Dead which really makes you feel like you're in a zombie apocalypse at the end of the world. We mean that in a good way. We're hearing that the 90s platform classic Flashback has been added too and that's a real blast from the past, though the stylised graphics still somehow hold up.
This system works by essentially emulating the Xbox 360 on your Xbox One and all you have to do is pop in one of your old disks and it should work. If you owned a digital copy then it will be available to download in your library - or you can just go to Xbox Live and buy the games anew.
Both Portal 2 and Left 4 Dead cost €20, which is a bit much for games that came out in 2011 and 2008.
Dig out those old copies on Xbox 360!
