Italian restaurant scoops award as best in the world

Run by chef Massimo Bottura, the Osteria Francescana found in the Italian city of Modena has been bestowed the title.

It beat off competition from 49 other eateries around the globe.

The winning establishment holds 3 Michelin stars and demand is so high it is fully booked until the end of the year.
