iOS 10 won't let you completely delete apps

iOS 10 won't signal the end of pre-loaded stock apps afterall. While Apple has confirmed that users can drop native mobile apps on iOS 10, it turns out that you can't delete them completely.

When you "delete" a stock app on iOS 10, it loses its configurations and deletes any data that you handed over. However, the binary file remains in your device's system, even though there's no visible sign of the app anywhere. That's according to Apple's SVP of software engineering, Craig Federighi, who spoke during The Talk Show Live. If you delete a stock app, you'll need to download them again from the App Store.

The ability to remove apps is certainly welcome, but it won't make a huge difference to how you use your device, according to Apple. It was pointed out that its pre-loaded apps don't take up much storage space or place too much of a strain on a device.
