The Predator's release date skulks closer

The Predator was originally scheduled for release in March, 2018, but has been given a new release date, which could appeal to those looking for the perfect Valentine’s Day movie. The Predator’s new release date is February 9, 2018.

That’s in the US at least, but the UK and US release dates were the same, so it seems likely that the UK’s will be moved up to the same time period too. This could be a vote of confidence from Fox. Valentine’s Day has become a notable time of year to release a film, as seen by the box office performances of Deadpool and 50 Shades of Grey.

Plus, with Shane Black (The Nice Guys) on board, it’s clear that the studio is optimistic about what he can come up with. It’s still too early to know too much about the film. However, it’s rumoured that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson could take the lead role.
