Footage makes fat biking seem like the perfect beach activity

Being an island with plenty of beaches, Ireland has plenty of soft, unstable terrain in the form of sand.

Scott Coyne sent us this footage of him on his own fat bike riding around the beautiful Ballyconneely beach in Connemara.

Fat biking seems like the way forward for people who like a more adventurous cycle, with dunes, ledges and rock beds all seemingly easy to navigate with a pair of over-sized tyres.

And the best part of doing this at a beach? You get to go for a refreshing dip in the ocean afterwards.
