VR will put UK jurors at the scene of a crime

A Staffordshire University research group put together the program, according to a report by the BBC, which uses VR headsets, cameras, and green screen effects. This puts a juror into the middle of a crime scene, while an attorney is able to guide them through the scene and its connected evidence.

The head of justice services at Staffordshire Police, Simon Tweats, told the BBC that, it can bring complex scenes to life. "Doing that in a way that is far easier for juries to understand and appreciate — which can only be good for everybody, for prosecution and defence," he said.
