Watch this cat go to the bathroom standing up

Now we’ve really seen it all.

This cat was caught on camera going to the bathroom standing up.

The cat is a Russian Blue, a breed sought out as pets for their beauty but also because they are known to develop close bonds with their human companions.

Perhaps the bond this cat has with their owner has caused it to develop human-like bathroom behaviour.

Cats generally soil with their tails in a horizontal position, making this a rare sight to behold.

The owner can be heard saying, "Kitty, I’m sorry this is an invasion of your privacy".

It certainly is, but isn’t that what cat videos are for?

He does go into the toilet afterwards, presumably to bury the evidence as all cats do, but this is a very sophisticated cat all the same.
