Even the basking sharks in Waterford have been enjoying the sunshine

Being an island, we are blessed to be surrounded by the ocean - a gateway to some wonderful sea life.

Videographer James McCarthy sent irishexaminer.com this great video of a group of basking sharks in Caliso Bay, Co.Waterford.

To have the captured the sharks so close to the surface of the water makes this video an amazing watch.

The water in Caliso Bay looks great too, but we think we'll wait for the sharks to leave before heading there for a dip.

And there was plenty of other out enjoying the sunshine around the country today too.
