This footage shows off Clough Oughter Castle in Cavan and it is beautiful

Ireland is a wonderfully scenic part of the world and this video just proves that once again.

Videographer Gleb Maguire sent us this stunning video of Lough Oughter in Cavan highlighting Cloughoughter Castle.

The video shows the unusual location of the ruined castle standing on a small island surrounded by a flooded drumlin landscape.

If you pause the video, it's almost like a painting. We think it’s pretty impressive.
