He posted the message on Twitter last night, indicating that the long-running saga of bringing Super Meat Boy to a Nintendo platform could finally come to a close in the near future. Super Meat Boy was once supposed to be released on Wii, but restrictions on game size led to it being delayed and ultimately cancelled.

Super Meat Boy was first launched back in 2010 on Xbox 360 with ports following for PC, Mac, and Linux. The game was released last autumn on PS4 and PS Vita.

BlitWorks is handling the Wii U port and is wrapping up work on it now, according to Refenes. He added that it should be available in a couple of months.
