This Irish trad band recorded a brilliant session with twist

What do you get if you mix Irish trad music with a brass band?

Eight piece Irish trad band The Young Irelanders have produced a fabulous new video featuring themselves and San Diego Brass fusing two distinct music styles.

Currently on tour in the US, the group took some time out to record 'The Shepherd's Dream/Onga Bucharest' in a session with a twist.

Their profile is rising steadily having performed with the likes of Sting and David Gray.

With an album due in the summer, their eclectic sound and new take on trad is sure to impress.

Brilliant.
