“When I was active as a musician, I used to go to a lot of concerts that weren’t necessarily classical concerts,” she says. “Having experience of going to lots of gigs and meeting all kinds of musicians from different disciplines has really stimulated my musical curosity. It opened up all kinds of amazing worlds in music that have been very enriching for me.
