Dog who lost leg in lawnmower accident gets 3D printed prosthetic
But thanks to specialists in Mexico City, she has been given a new lease of life.
Using a 3D printer, vets have created a prosthetic leg to help Romina walk properly again.
The prosthetic is one of a kind as it allows the dog to preserve her natural anatomy, allowing the joints to move in a similar way as natural limbs.
It took six months to design and create a prototype prosthetic and once the dog is used to it, Romina will get a titanium prosthetic coasted in a skin like material.
