Watch out - a real Christmas tree can be hazardous for those with hay fever

FOR those who suffer from an increase of hay fever-like symptoms at Christmas, real Christmas trees could be the main cause of the problems.

Dubbed ‘Christmas Tree Syndrome’, symptoms include itchy nose, watery eyes, wheezing, coughing, chest pains, lethargy and insomnia — and it can even lead to life-threatening pneumonia, in rare serious cases.
