Ed Sheeran returns lost ID card from one of his concerts to fan with handwritten note

When he is not turning up for impromptu sing-song sessions, interrupting weddings and visiting people at the hospital, he is returning lost ID cards to concert goers.

A Reddit user put up a post showing a handwritten note that he says his friend received from Ed Sheeran after losing her ID card at one of his concerts.

While it is not confirmed, it seems like something that Ed would definitely do.

Ed has to be one of the soundest popstars out there with an endless list of anecdotal stories about his generous spirit.

He regularly donates his old clothes to charity shops in Suffolk where he is from and he has made all his concert tickets the same price so people have a chance of getting front row tickets for the same price as other seats.

And who can forget the time he appeared on The Late Late Toy Show .

Ed has also rescued a kitten who was going to be put down, named him Graham and set up a Twitter account for his new pet.
