VIDEO: Sharon Ní Bheoláin called Brian Dobson 'Dobbo' live on air and twitter went nuts

We've had some major RTÉ bloopers over the years from Aengus Mac Grianna getting caught fixing his make-up live on air to Caitriona Perry almost being hit with a lighting tree, but we may have found the biggest scandal yet.

In a controversial move, news anchor Sharon Ní Bheoláin referred to Brian Dobson by his well known nickname 'Dobbo'.

After the two presenters got caught up in their words, Sharon is clearly heard saying "No Dobbo, you go" in a twist that many people call 'courting with controversy'.

Naturally Twitter picked up on the possible slip and gave it the full internet treatment.
